Created in honour of the place that means: “up the river” in Cree: Nutimik Lake. Artist Talia Keyton sat for 9.5 hours straight in order to capture view in its entirety, which in turn was the inspiration for its title: “Late Light Looming”. Talia captured the beauty from the grounds of the authentic, log-built Whiteshell Natural History Museum.
PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED. High-resolution printing using Canon and Epson Fine Art Printers captures the bright and vibrant colours of the original painting with inks that will last a lifetime.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING. Size 8”x10” are packed with a foam core backing in a clear sleeve and shipped in a flat mailer to ensure no harm comes to the merchandise. Larger prints (16" x 20" & 11" x 14") are rolled and shipped in a tube to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. If you're ordering multiples with size variations they will be rolled and packaged in a tube to save you on shipping costs!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Hello! My name is Talia Keyton. Originally from the U.K. I moved to Canada in 2007 with my family in pursuit of a better life. Winding up in Winnipeg by accident, I fell in love with this city’s unique charm and the incredible people here. We put down roots and haven’t looked back since.
In my paintings I create a whimsical world of ideals; a combined reflection of my surroundings with the way I think they ought to be. I use intense colour, pattern repetition and textural change to portray emotion in my work. Spray paint, acrylic and resin, are the mediums I work with regularly. Their endless layering potential always seems to inspire experimentation which I find creates space for unique results.
Expression of life in general, and all the different ways that life can manifest; in endless possibilities of colours, sounds and shapes will never cease to inspire me. When I immerse myself in creating art about life I feel infinite and I have come to believe that in choosing to engage with this feeling, I am choosing all along the way to reveal more of my wholeness to myself.
